Iris Rousseau

Coach Iris has been at AMAC since 2006. She was program director and office manager before becoming the owner in 2025. She is head instructor for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

She graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in political science, worked with the Atlanta City Council and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, and has trained under Sifu Alan Baker since 2005.

She also holds instructorships under Erik Paulson and Guro Dan Inosanto. The homepage still introduces her as a 2nd degree black belt. Her credentials page lists a 3rd degree. Both lines are on the live site, and both stay here.
